1st of November, 2015:
In the many years of running this blog, I've somehow always avoided repeating a location. That is until today! Me and my wife have spent the past few days visiting her family in Karakara and since I first wrote about this town over 4 years ago, I figured now is as good a time as any to see whether my opinion has changed.
Some context for those who don't know: Karakara is a large town on the coast of the glistening lake Kara Mia-kakaamisal. Known for its busy central market and picturesque lakeside marinas, Karakara is seen by many Syan citizens as the nation's retirement home. This is a sentiment I can attest to, since nearly everyone you see strolling the narrow winding streets are aged 50 and above. More iportantly, longtime followers of this blog will know that Karakara is the birthplace of my wife, with most of her family still living in the area.
